Worked example · illustrative

A $160 fee leaves $22.65.

Three person-hours at $28.75 fully loaded cost $86.25. Add $46.30 in other allocated costs and 3% processing, and the modeled profit is $22.65.

Add one person-hour at the same rate. Profit becomes a $6.10 loss per turnover at the same fee.

This example uses the defaults above. It is not a customer case study or an earnings promise.

Know the formula

Margin is different from markup.

Target price = modeled cost ÷ (1 − payment fee rate − target margin).

At $132.55 cost, a 3% payment fee and 25% target margin, the unrounded target is $184.10. A whole-dollar quote rounds up to $185.

Include each cost once. Travel and laundry labor belong either in person-hours or other costs, not both.

Want help applying your own numbers?

We’re testing a $249 portfolio analysis for up to ten properties: compare labor, laundry, supplies and overhead, test one extra paid labor hour, and receive an HTML report with one input correction.

Review the fictional sample first. This is a new service pilot, with no client results or guaranteed savings. There is no service checkout here; scope and availability must be confirmed before any purchase.

Need an estimator built around your own quote rules? Ask about a $750 custom quote estimator pilot.

The contact link opens your email app. Send only business questions or aggregate cost assumptions; property aliases are enough. Do not email guest records, door codes, bank details or credentials. We do not collect the calculator inputs. These service prices are test offers, not a promise of availability or a delivery deadline.

Before you buy

What do I receive?

A ZIP with an HTML app and a quick-start guide. Unzip it on a computer and open the app in a modern browser. You can inspect the source; no AI account or installation is needed.

Does it connect to Airbnb, Vrbo or Turno?

No. Enter your observed costs and volume. This is profitability planning software; it does not schedule cleaners, process payments or connect calendars.

Where do saved properties go?

The paid app saves them in your browser. Export backups regularly. It does not sync devices. Clearing browser storage may delete your saved portfolio.

Can I use it on a phone?

This free check works in a mobile browser. The paid download is intended for a desktop browser because mobile file viewers can block downloaded HTML.

Will this guarantee profit?

No. Results depend on your inputs, complete costs, actual jobs and the prices customers accept. Income taxes and unentered costs are excluded.

How do refunds work?

The paid Gumroad listing offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. Refer to your Gumroad receipt and product listing for the refund process.

Partner starter kit: what to share

Lead with the problem: a cleaning fee can cover the usual job and still lose money when the clean runs longer. Invite your audience to enter their own costs in the free check.

A short post you can adapt:

Could one extra cleaning hour turn your turnover into a loss? This free calculator checks your fee against labor and other costs. The optional $49 desktop download adds saved property comparisons, combined stress tests and customer estimates. I may earn a commission if you buy through my affiliate link. A worked example for a lesson: a fictional $160 turnover with three person-hours at $28.75, $46.30 in other costs and 3% processing leaves $22.65. One extra person-hour turns it into a $6.10 loss. These are illustrative inputs, not customer results or recommended rates.

Before promoting: apply above and wait for approval. Use the referral link Gumroad generates for your account; a plain product URL does not earn affiliate credit. Do not post the bracketed placeholder. Keep your disclosure close to the recommendation and use your own honest wording.

Set expectations: the free check works on a phone; the paid ZIP is intended for a desktop browser, saves data locally and does not connect to booking platforms. The paid listing offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. Fees and refunds affect commissions. Do not promise savings, earnings or client results, and do not send spam.
